Refund policy

1. General

Studio 97 offers designer dress rentals for short-term use. We want you to feel confident when booking, so we outline your rights and responsibilities below.

2. No Deposit, But Liability for Damages

We do not require a deposit. However, by renting from Studio 97 you agree to return the garment in the same condition it was received (normal inspection/try-on excluded).

  • If a garment is returned with damage, stains, or is lost/not returned, you will be charged repair or replacement costs.

  • We will always provide evidence (photos, invoices) of any claim.

3. EU Consumer Rights & Right of Withdrawal

  • Under EU law, consumers normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from online purchases.

  • However, this right does not apply to time-specific rental services that are fully performed within the withdrawal period (e.g. a one-day or weekend dress rental).

  • By booking a dress for a defined rental period, you acknowledge that the rental is a service linked to a specific date, and that once the rental period has begun, you cannot withdraw under the 14-day rule.

  • If you wish to cancel before the item is dispatched, we will issue a full refund.

4. Cancellations

  • You may cancel up until the garment has been shipped, and receive a full refund.

  • Once shipped, cancellation is no longer possible, except where Studio 97 fails to deliver by the agreed date.

5. Returns

  • Garments must be returned on the agreed return date using the instructions provided.

  • Late returns may incur daily late fees.

  • If you receive a garment that is faulty or not as described, please contact us immediately. You are entitled to a remedy (replacement or refund) under EU law.

6. Refunds

  • Refunds (where applicable) are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned garment, or of confirming cancellation before dispatch.

  • Refunds are made via the same payment method used at checkout.
